When installed, window blinds tend to act as a very unique feature in a home. They are cheap to buy and install, and they can be used to protect your residence from the harmful effects of the sun. But before you start to enjoy their benefits, you first need to know how to install them.
The tools you will need include:
The materials are:
1. Start by Installing the Brackets
Pick the cube-shaped brackets and begin installing them on the inner corners of your home windows. One bracket should face outwards and the other one towards the center. Once installed, you will need to use tiny plastic pieces to secure your blinds.
2. Install the Wand
Each blind controller comes with a long plastic wand. Make sure you install it according to the instructions that have been provided by the manufacturer. The main purpose of the wand is to help you open and close your blind slats.
3. Make Adjustments to Your Wand
It is important to make sure that the wand has been adjusted to the correct length. Here, you will also need to pay attention to the diagrams and instructions accompany the blinds. If you do so, you will find that this process is quite simple.
You will need to drop your blinds as far as they can be able to go. This means that their bottom ought to be lying on your windowsills. It is something that is meant to make it easier for you to determine the required length.
Once done, get rid of the plastic retainer tabs. From here, proceed to gently remove the bigger bottom piece that is designed to help you adjust its length. Get rid of all the excess slats and throw them away.
When done, make sure that you have tied the string ends and then pushed them through the holes present in the final rung.

Called LS Handyman Singapore on a Sunday and they connected us with Uncle Alan within minutes and he came down a couple of hours later. He explained to us what he needed to do to fix the leakage we were having, gave us a quote and returned first thing in the morning the following day. Uncle Alan did a great job fixing the leak at my mother's house by changing the old PVC pipes to stainless steel pipes. Thank you for the prompt response and great job! 😊😊😊read more
